He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin and has presented 3D graphics research papers at leading conferences such as Siggraph, Eurographics, and I3D, as well as having written articles for well-known industry publications such as Game Developer Magazine. |

| David Allen is a Senior Engineering Manager within the Frostbite Engineering Workflows team. He has been with EA for just over 3 years. Previously worked in the motor industry specialising in R&D Software Development for Autonomous Vehicles.
He qualified from Dublin City University with a BSc in Mathematics and Computing. He has always loved games, FIFA and Battlefield being two of his favourite games.
Alex Mann
After finishing university in the UK, Alex joined EA in Ireland back in 2011 within the Customer Experience team. Since then, he’s worked across multiple areas of development within the EA teams to support, analyse and develop around live services for games. Today he’s a Program Manager working on EA’s in-house game engine Frostbite, helping develop the engine for many future games coming from EA over the coming years. |

Romero is considered to be the "father of first-person shooters" having led the design and contributed to the programming and audio design of the iconic and genre-defining games Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, Quake, Heretic and Hexen, and his products have won well over 100 awards. Romero was also one of the earliest supporters of eSports and a professional-level DOOM and Quake player. Romero is presently working on a new first-person shooter with a major publisher. |
